Bindi Jean’s Brush with Death

VetBilling.com Success Story from:

Betty Kleri

One day when Betty wasn’t home, her cat knocked her husband’s medication on the floor. The little bottle with pills that rattled inside was too tempting for her 1 year old Miniature Schnauzer, Bindi Jean.

Bindi managed to get the bottle open and she ate the medication inside, which was a prescription strength anti-inflammatory.

Bindi developed a severe ulceration in the lining of her stomach and she became septic.

She spent a full week at MedVet Columbus, a veterinary critical care facility in Ohio. At times it didn’t look like Bindi would make it.

But thanks to the skill and dedication of the MedVet Columbus team, Bindi’s life was saved.

And because MedVet Columbus offers in-house payment plans through VetBilling®, Betty was able to absorb the financial shock by spreading the cost of Bindi’s care over time.

The hospital worked with Betty to design a manageable payment arrangement that would allow her to comfortably continue paying her other bills. The ideal solution for her was 12 bi-weekly installment payments.

Bindi is back home now and doing well. Betty wrote to us to express her gratitude. “I will be forever grateful for MedVet. I thought I was going to lose Bindi and I was so sick over it…they are truly amazing.”

Betty’s payment plan for Bindi:
Total cost: $743.33
Payments: 12 bi-weekly at $64.94
