Kris: Cat with Urinary Obstruction

VetBilling.com Success Story from:

Joleen Johnston

Kris was a stray cat who wandered into Joleen’s yard over 11 years ago. But he didn’t just wander into her yard – he found a permanent home in her heart.

Over the years, this sweet kitty suffered through several urinary obstructions, each one requiring veterinary intervention. But this last time, Kris had a severe life-threatening blockage that required an emergency surgical procedure called a perineal urethrostomy.

The estimated cost of the surgery was over $2500. Joleen needed a way to make payments over time because she couldn’t afford the full cost all at once. Thanks to a VetBilling® payment plan, Kris got his surgery and has made a full recovery.

Says Joleen, “VetBilling® was a godsend! So compassionate and easy to work with. If it wasn’t for VetBilling® we would have lost Kris. I highly recommend their services. Thank you so very much!!”

Joleen’s payment plan for Kris:

Total cost of treatment:      $2,533.85
Down payment:                  $822.00
Payments:                          13 monthly at $131.68
Status:                                Paid in full on time
Treating veterinarian:          Cheat Lake Animal Hospital
