Rocky’s Bothersome Lump

Rocky is a 13 year old rescue, and like most older dogs, over the years he’s developed some lumps and bumps.

His mom, Karen, always had the lumps checked out to make sure they weren’t cancerous, but recently Rocky developed a lump on his back that really bothered him.

He kept scratching at it until it bled, and then it got infected.

It was time for that lump to go, but Karen was concerned about the cost.

Fortunately her vet works with VetBilling®, so she was able to get a 6 month payment plan to help her more easily afford the surgery to remove Rocky’s bothersome lump.

Karen recently sent us Rocky’s picture and wrote to us: “I couldn’t have afforded the lumpectomy without VetBilling. Rocky is doing so much better now. Thank you!”

Karen’s payment plan for Rocky:

Total cost of treatment: $420.90
Payments: 6 monthly at $70.15
Status: Paid in full on time
Treating Veterinarian: Quinebaug Valley Veterinary Hospital

VetBilling's purpose is to expand financial access to veterinary care for pet owners across the entire socioeconomic spectrum. Our mission is to reduce economic euthanasia and owner surrender of pets when pet owners can’t pay the full upfront cost of veterinary care all at once. We accomplish this by giving veterinarians the tools to successfully offer a variety of novel payment solutions, including in-house payment plans, pay-in-advance plans, pet savings accounts, and monthly wellness plans. Using our secure, cloud-based web software, veterinarians can set up customized payment solutions for clients in just minutes. VetBilling manages all payments for the veterinary practice, and provides full payment recovery and collection services if necessary.
